Hi everybody! We've had some very succesful gigs this weekend. Our show in Venlo was a nice start into the festival season. It had been some months since we've played for the first time and we were all looking forward to it very much. The show in Waldrock was very hot because we brought some entertainment with us which was hot as hell! It was already such a beautiful day with lots of sunshine. To have some flames on stage was like summer in Egypt! I was also standing again too close to the flames... During our show at the Paradiso for the live DVD recording, I almost lost my hair.... At 'Consign to Oblivion' I leave the stage in the middle to leave some room for the boys. Before Mark starts singing the 'low' part at the end, I come back. The stage at Paradiso is not that big. I was a bit too late and came on right when Mark was singing 'Low'. That was when the flames came out on the side and I was very very close to them. After it I was touching my hair all the time to see if it was still there. I told myself to still do some headbanging in the meantime so that when the time would come I wouldn't suffer from the horrible 'morning after neckache'. Of coures I didn't do it, except from some Kamelot gigs. Now I can barely move my whole neck and back haha. That's rock 'n roll folks! Luckily it is Sunday today and we can all be lazy :) I will be taking a hot bath! Till the next one! Love, Simone
